Custom Cake Toppers If a customer would like to order a cake topper through us, it must be mentioned when ordering. We want to be sure that we order your topper in enough time for it to come in for your event. If topper is ordered too close to due date, we can’t guarantee on time delivery. Topper prices will vary based on the intricacy of your request. A simple gold “Happy Birthday” cake topper will not cost nearly as much a Watermelon themed number “3” with pink, green, and white stripes.
Basic Cake Handling Instructions Because our buttercreams are homemade and fresh, it is important to keep your cakes refrigerated so that the buttercream will not melt. Take the cake out of the fridge about 2 hours prior to cutting it so that it may come close to room temperature and will be easy to cut. The flavors and textures of the cake and frosting will meld together perfectly once the cake thaws at room temperature. Please do not leave cakes sitting out for more than 3 hours before cutting and serving. If you are having an outdoor event, it is imperative that you keep your cake in a cooler or ask for on-sight delivery so that your cake does not melt in our Louisiana heat. If you are hot, your cake is hot too!
